Does somebody know how to migrate your customisation when upgrading? I've tried to copy the v14 shortcuts.sys file to v15, but that doesn't seem to do the trick.

Same issue with the palettes. Is there no other way then printing your old set and set up the same set in the upgraded version by hand?

Both sets should be stored somewhere?

Or did I miss a way that is actually implemented in ViaCAD Pro?

You just need to copy all files from C:\Users\%YourUsername%\AppData\Local\Punch!\Shark FX\ to C:\Users\%YourUsername%\AppData\Local\Punch!\SharkCAD15\ while the software is closed. This even works from Shark FX 9 to SharkCAD15 Pro.

Thank you MPSchmied. I've tried to locate those files on a Mac but didn't succeed sofar. I will look further in the environment folder.

Hi @PeterPan

You need to enable or tick "Show Library" in your Finder window top window menu View > "Show View options" - cmd-J

Then you will see Application Support open this folder and scroll to com.encore.xxxxxx
Expand this and I'm pretty sure you'll find it there.

On a Mac, the program file layout is (very) different from Windows.

There are many customization files. And I don't know what/where they all are.
Here are a few that I know about:
1) Model-to-Sheet templates
These are in the application bundle i.e. "ViCAD 14.app/Contents/Templates/ModelToSheet". Any custom templates can be moved from the old "app/Contents/Templates/..." to the new one.

2) Custom Dimension sets are in "~/Library/Application Support/com.encore.vicat14esd/StdDim.ini". These need to get moved to the new directory, (I think?) I don't remember doing this the last update?

3) there are other .ini files that you could try moving. Such as:
UserMacros.ini
VCPPrefs.ini

4) There is a "PalletPos.sys" in "~/Library/Application Support/com.encore.vicat14esd/" but I don't know what it does. It isn't a text file.
