Difference between join and connect (#4451)

What is it? I am having a hell of a time with a simple drawing that I want to extrude (you may have seen my post in Solid Modeling), and am always coming up with an error. What it join used for, and what is connect used for? I'm hoping that your answers will help me. Thanks-

>>What it join used for, and what is connect used for? The Connect tool will make two curves share a common location. After a Connect operation, you will still have two curves. The Join tool will merge two curves into one curve. Tim
