Is it feasible to allow viewports to "open" or "see into" other drawings. It might be worthwhile to have something not quite like x-refs, but sort of like tiling panes and working on two drawings.

What would be nice is that if two drawings share common coordinates, then one could "lift" or reference objects in another drawing. This way, even if x-refs are a royal PITA to back fit into VC 2D/3D or VCP, then at least having viewports able to offer a smoother workflow between one or more drawings (or as many viewports as a user can comfortably open based on display size or number of available displays).

Just an idea... so that VCP 7 has an additional tantalizing feature...
