Hi, can it be possible to abort or escape from invoking a properties or other operation on a selection of objects?

I ask this because i selected some 36 solids to obtain volume. I thought at first that i was looking at the total volume, then realized that on on hitting "Esc" that nothing was happening. I had to endure 36 clicks on "OK" for each and every part in order to finish off the command.

Another possible idea is to allow the user to select or lasso clusters of filtered solids (let's say for the moment that we're inspecting solids) and then when hitting a shortcut for say, volume, mass, etc, a small widget pops up to show summary information. It might be really kewl to also offer include-exclude capabilities to the widget to avoid having to re-lasso items when say, most of some 30 selected items are wanted included and say only 4 or 5 need to be removed from the selection.

Just some ideas.
