This is an early stages 3D model of a ship i designed on paper. That one was my second ship. I have others following it on paper. It takes a loonnng time to do this, but i'm having fun.

I model the hull in Delftship, then adjust to suit the hydrostatics i think are reasonable based on overlaying the model on an existing hull model. On paper, years ago, i had to do this by hand, using photos and extrapolating information, as i am not a naval engineer. I then export the curves as .dxf and import into ViaCAD.
