Is it possible to have callouts or balloons that (separately from any live-updating BOMs on the dwg...) display mass/volume/principal dimension properties for any object "dimensioned" with them?

That would be a 'kewl tewl' or feature, especially when used as a visual cue of parts relative to one another. If one could create a BOM with maximum dimensions and part weights, then one could at-a-glance see how self-imposed constraints are being adhered to.
