Does anyone know of any FREE or inexpensive (say, under US$50), low-restrictions, 3D, poseable human models, or at least some that are standing, crouching sitting, reaching and leaning like in ergonomic working situations?

I suck at drawing stick figures, and i want to pose some as if carrying tools, boxes, negotiating or climbing stairs/ladders, entering door ways and so on. I don't want to pay an arm and a leg (virtual or otherwise) to get a few.

2D could work, but wouldn't be as exciting.

Thanks!

You might also try Blender 3D at http://www.blender.org it's free and there is alot of models available for it. As an alternative you might look at Animation Master at http://www.hash.com it's $49.95 and is built for character animation. Best luck.

Thanks! Actually, i'm ok with simple existing wireframe or surface of a 3D human, but i am terrible at actually *making* a model. I'll just be sticking them in but not animating or the like.
