Bonjour,
Cordialement.
Antoine

Using Babelfish/Altavista/Yahoo, I'll try to help Antoine and the rest of us out: "Hello, According to the copies d' screen below, you will note these anomalies under CU and SharkFX. That is to say: 1- build a plane surface. 2- cut out there a hole. 3-make show points on surface. 4-test d' to publish points of surface in order to modify its aspect. 5- note how the software destroyed the work previously made of the hole on surface!!! A bug that I note since the Xenon version… In this case, any surface work is dedicated to l' failure Thanks for making follow. Cordially. Antoine"

Hello,
Here is another case where the work (draw points on z) on a surface destroyed.
Do you have a solution?

I can confirm this problem.
Example from VC (build 823)
I created a surface, projected/embedded the circle, then removed the cut section.(see attached pic+ model). Select the surface then show_points, then adjust one of the control points,.. the cutout is lost.
I exported the surface to check in another program. The surface imported correctly and could have the control points moved without the loss of the cutout, but I did notice that the exported surface did have overlapping CPs on the center section (I have ringed them in the pic)

Hi Steve,
Somehow I would not expect this to work in a modeler of this kind. Tweaking "points" is something we do in Rhino or a surface modeler ;)
If you maintain the polysurface (with embedded curve) then modify the curve by editing points or direct input, then explode to surfaces..seems okay.
Just curious what format did you export ?
