hello,

1-here is a useful solution for the effects of cuts on his model.
file:use a clip plane 1.jpg

Unfortunately, there is a display bug.?
file: use a clip plane-result.jpg

2 - I put a file of an optimal result. I actually cut the model. (openGL)
file:use a clip plane-correct.jpg


3 - Then, I put a picture of a cup with improvements in color on the faces.
file: use a clip plane faces color.jpg

4 - then tips to assign materials on surfaces for rendering.
file: tips.jpg

I get the same results with CU4 and an ATI graphics card on OSX.

This is one of those bugs that just makes the software look 'less than professional' and actually negates some of the usefullness of the feature as it is often difficult to see what is part of what when you get into assemblies of more than a few parts.
