Is there a way to draw an arc, when given radius (or diameter) to an arc length? Or even to place point(s) on arc at a given length; not the entire arc path, just one point say 12 inches from the last point, which would be 11.94 inches from the one before which was some 3' random" from beginning of arc. Of course these are non-running dimensions along arc, not cords.
Thanks for the help.

There isn't provision to draw directly to curve length, but you can insert a curve length dimension on an arc and edit end points to the vertices of the dimension.

Thank you. Not as easy as typing in desired length; gives the ability to locate where my cl of columns are- within structural tolerances.

You ought to be able to also adjust an arc's length by entering length/((2*r*pi)/360) in the "total angle" data box with the arc selected. Most probably due to my maths, but it hasn't worked 100% when I've done it just now.

big thank you! That is much more math, and I trust math.
