Does anyone know if there is a way to assign a single key shortcut which would "enable" the Gripper?

If not, I submit a request for that feature - I had been using IronCAD's mighty TriBall before leaving Windows for the Mac and I really like the Gripper. It is important to me to have quick access to it.

yes, there is a way:
menu file -> short cuts. scroll to entry "windows" and assign a key to "gripper"
viacad pro 10 powerpackpro, viacad pro 9 german, mac
