This is the behavior of 2 lines on a guide. (Guide skin surface.)
01: The 2 lines (highlighted) are the cross sections. The other 2 lines are just for visual check, and the spline for the guide.
02: The result when the spline is CP (no good)
03: Result from B-spline (no good)
04: Result from Int. Looks much better.
05: 2 lines on a circle looks OK
06: 2 lines on an ellipse (no good)
07: here I placed 4 lines (cross sections) and placed a line for visual check
08: still error showing on the ellipse.
Conclusion. There is a need (as I have already mentioned in another post) to use Int splines for the guides. However, there are still errors in the surface generated. These error are quite small but give some problems on later work (such as if the surfaces are stitched and shelling is attempted)
So I am not sure as to the usefulness of the Guide skin surfaces, or even if I should use them.
