I am sketchup user, but looking into ViaCad 3d.
My question is such thing as component in Viacad?
Let say i design some model which consist if several part. Some of the parts are the same. If I make the part can I make it as component (it is a term from sketchup) so my final model will have several such components. Late I can change (edit) the component and all instances will be updated simultaneously?
Is it doable in ViaCad?

I believe it is called duplicate instance in viacAD. There's also another option duplicate with history in case you just want to change the radii of a blend and not the original.

I was a sketch up user long long ago. Had to graduate sometime!

Our instance is not as efficient as SketchUp which I got into while developing the SketchUp translator. I was hoping to address in 9, but looks like this will need to wait for a future release.
