Is there away to import an overhead drawing of a kart that I have designed so I can try and model it? Thanks for any help in advance. Thomas Hazlett

Hello Thomas Just scan the drawing and save as .bmp and then import using file:import. If you want to draw over the top at 1:1 then just measure a line in the physical drawing and trace the same line in ViaCAD/Shark, compare length of line you just created and then scale everything accordingly. All the best Nick

Nick, Thank you for the help. I am VERY new to CAD modeling. I work for a company that does alot of design and the use autodesk inventor. I got ViaCad so I can learn how it all works. I am having a good time so far but there is so much to learn. I am glad I found the forum and now have time to start posting so I can learn. Thanks again for the help, I wll let you know how it works. I do know that I will need help joining the pipe(1 1/4") the real thing is coping cut(sp) I am not sure how to do this modeling though?
