I love to hear what users are doing with the software. Heard some news from a long time user taking on another exciting project with Shark. "I am using Shark FX with AeroPack as my primary CAD system in developing my first post-retirement aircraft; a two-place, multi-surface (water, snow, grass and runway) aircraft that will have the typical performance of a good land-plane. Burt Rutan" Burt went on to say that the SkiGull is his most exciting design since SpaceShipOne. Tim

It'd be hard to find a user with more credibility to write your testimonial. When I was a kid, I loved how vibrant and innovative the homebuilt and experimental plane scene was (probably still is, but I don't have as avid an interest). He was one of the heroes of that scene, even forty years ago.

I have some ideas for an interface to dramatically speed up nautically-related designs. I, however, have nowhere near the credibility or fame of the esteemed Burt Rutan. And, my ideas would be useful from professionals to hobbyists. I personally would love to see the Shark interface as the engine, and tie in some of my other favorite apps and their developers.

>>It'd be hard to find a user with more credibility My roots were with aircraft design/analysis so it is exciting to see that the concept design work of SpaceShipOne and his other work was facilitated with Shark or early versions of Shark. When I was a youngster growing up in the 60's I wanted to be an astronaut . As I grew older entering into college, I became more practical and became an aerospace engineer involved with CAD. Now as a CAD developer removed from the actual design process, much of my inspiration is through the accomplishments of the design community using ViaCAD/Shark. Many thanks to those who share their work and feedback! A dream come true would be to hitch a ride on Virgin Galactic, but my wife…. Tim
