Making a Ring Shark contains some unique modeling features including the bend along curve tool. This demonstration shows how to create a jewelry item and use associativity to rapidly explore new ideas.

Paul, Interesting thought I guess without a symmetric surface match function, your only way to do this would be to have 2 end sections (at each end) exactly the same !? That would effectively induce G1 continuity, right or not !? What we really need (and urgently) to attack any typical surface patch scenario is: 1 - a master/slave surface match function (G1 & G2 settings) 2 - a symmetrical surface match function (G1 & G2 settings) thoughts ? Otherwise, great tutorial Tim !!
