Hi Guys,
I have just noticed a missing feature in Concept Explorer > Symbols. In previous versions, up to v8, as the cursor is placed over individual symbol images a small title pane opened showing what the symbol is. It has been a while since I have used symbols so I was surprised to find that, in v9.0.3 Build 1146, this feature is missing. The small yellow hollow triangle feature is there but not the title label. As you can imagine this makes it very difficult to pick one screw from another. Has anyone else noticed this?

You mean that when you choose Mechanical->2D Fasteners Metric Counterbore and you hover over the first image, your ViaCad will not show a yellow label "COUNTERBORE CAP 1.6F"? When I was testing this for you, it did pop up. Most of the time, though, there were some instances it didn't.

I'm using 9.0.0, built 1109

Hi macnavi, Sorry I haven't been back for a while and have just noticed your reply. You have understood my question completely. I have never seen this before in all my variations of ViaCad, even partially as you have found with your earlier v9 Build 1109. With my v9.0.3 build 1146 I have total loss of the Yellow Label, just the hollow Yellow Triangle, on all Symbol Library Images in Concept Explorer.
I had rather hoped that Tim Olsen would pick up on the problem with some idea of what is going on.

Hi, I just clicked 'Current Version' in my ViaCad v9 and was told that my v9.0.3 Build 1146 is current and no updates are necessary. I am running on iMac. Is the v9.0.5 for Windows?

Not you, someone else posted direct links to installers. I deleted the post.

1154 is currently going through Encore review for release. It will be available from the Help menu once Encore clears the update. If anyone must have a build (because of registration issues for example), they can contact Tech Support. Hopefully registration issues will no longer be a problem in 1154.
