hi,

when activating wireframe mode, you can select and move the line(s) of your rectangle. your extrusion will follow this modification

Hi Andrew

It depends on the sketch, and what you want to change. If you used a smart polygon you can select the rectangle in concept explorer and rt click and go to inspector attributes to change the dimensions. In concept explorer you can select the extrusion and change the length of the extrusion in the inspector.

If your rectangle is all single lines you can draw a new rectangle and use the replace curve found in concept explorer.

Regards
Jason

Hi Andrew

Below is a quick video showing how to use a polygon to drive a 3D part.

Yes, you can. On a Mac, if you command-click on the vector shape, the key points will show (as well as bezier handles, if you created a shape using that). Then you can drag a box around the key point and use the Gripper to move it. The extrusion should move with it.

Hope this is clear, otherwise I can make a video with it.

Don't give up when you are stuck. I did gave up after my first effort, but came back to the software a few weeks later, as I really wanted to make a certain model. Start reading the manual (under the help menu), as you would read a book. It's very clear and you'll quickly find out the amazing things you can do. When you have a good start this way, then you look up the specific things you need to know. I put the pdf of the manual on my iPad and started to read it in the train to work. The only thing is that you can't wait to go home to try out your newly acquired knowledge.

Sorry I missed your post. Have you tried to see if you could follow my hints? I thought it was quite clear.

Sorry I don't have the demo anymore but yes I tried to follow but was waiting for support help as well. As I said I am not a paying customer so I expect low priority which is fine

I am using spaceclaim at work and DesignSpark free at home great combination
