Is there any advantage to a "home design" software?

Hi Viacad is doing exactly what I want it to do. Which is modeling and producing shop drawings. But is there any advantage to a home design software like Punch Home design over ViaCad when producing sales images and quick layouts? Does that make sense? I have to run my whole office by myself and I have two carpenters and we are expanding into Cabinetry and are looking at the best form of custom interactions for kitchen mockups etc... My thinking is that Viacad when loaded with shapes linked to models will be just as fast with greater options. But what are your thoughts? JB

I figured out the symbols. Just make the model and save as symbol. SImple as pie once I knew what to look for. So now I can use symbols to load 3d models into a kitchen layout etc..
