Hello all, I have designed some latches for a Hawker Hunter (reverse engineered component). The VCP is looking pretty good but I am now looking to send the job out to a CNC service and am guessing they will want a g-code file (or maybe they might work with a DXF). I just wondered if anyone out there has done a similar process and can offer any tips. I am on a Mac, id rather not have to get involved in a Windows computer unless its absolutely necessary. There is software out there but mega expensive for what amounts to an ad-hoc hobby need rather than a business production/profit making job.

Hi Ray, I do CNC work, and a .dxf will import into most programs that will output G-CODE. You will have to put each part into it's own .dxf. Larry
