I am a complete newbie to CAD and viacad.
Initially I had a groundplan that eventually started to go jumpy when I zoomed in and out. Viacad was responding very very slowly to the point where it was unusable. Then I discovered it was just that file and other files did not seem "corrupted".
I worked off of an older plan and could save changes as I went along.

Now I notice, if I add a wall and I try to save the file I get the warning that links need to be resolved. If I try to save without resolving links it crashes or at least gives me the spinning wheel. If I try to resolved the links the application crashes.

It's been a steep learning curve to get me to this point so I am eager not to abandon this application but I am kind of stuck now and can't really move forward on my project.

Any help would be really grateful.

I am attaching the file which you will see is full of drafting errors but as you can imagine I am trying to learn.

Update.

I worked around the issue of crashing by selecting all and removing all links. Now I seem to be back in business. Perhaps this was an issue of several previous copy/paste steps where I started new iterations of my project and the links were starting to lose their parents. I may also be completely confused about how the program functions. Either way I am going again. Now, a separate issue has come up where my measuring tape doesn't seem to give me any reading. But that's for another posting.

Hello aac

Repeated found and fixed in next build. The crash was related to a very dense crosshatch. I can get you a beta to confirm if needed.
