Hi All

as an example, if a sketch a rectangle at any size and then i want to resize
how is that done ? my work flow is coming from parametric cad systems

The Prompt Window lets you enter the position values for x - y - z and values for width and height while your rectangle is still active, you may change these whenever you like to...

first decide to draw a rectangle as a polygon, then you can edit parameters in data entry area or in inspector (picture 1 + 2)

when drawing a rectangle as single lines you only can resize by fence selecting one line completely and use gripper to move that side (picture 3, the green or the blue selection)

One interesting thing
If i add s dimension to the rectangle than the parameter dialoh does not appear

That's because the dimensions are also selected. You can hide dimensions or use chain select to select the rectangle. Then change the size.
