Sorry, searching for my question didn't give any results. Im working with ViaCad2D3D 9 on Mac. Printing of solid models gives not the results I'm expecting. Exporting .jpeg gives a result in pixels with very low resolution. RAW files can not be opened, PICT files are empty ... Is there any approach? Thanks for help Chris

Hi Chris
Print in 2D3D will convert solids into triangles to match print scale.
JPEG will export at screen resolution, similar to a screen capture (command shift 4). The image exported is composed using OpenGL which is screen resolution.
RAW is a 3D facet format.
I thought PICT was removed in 9.

Are you seeing an export that is lower then screen resolution?
What is your build number of ViaCAD 2D3D (displayed in splash screen)? This might be a cinema screen issue that was fixed in a later build.
To save to a higher resolution you would need shark photo render to file which builds the image by pixel using ray trace methods.

The build is 1107, down loading and starting build 1184 asks the the serial number which I suppose must be a new one, cause my old one doesn't work >> Are you seeing an export that is lower then screen resolution? Pixels are lower than screen capture does cause, means yeas Chris
