ViaCad Pro 10 Issue with Extend Function - Extend Function Keeps Crashing

Rank: Guest Joined: 10/9/2016(UTC) Posts: 8 Thanks: 1 times Was thanked: 2 time(s) in 2 post(s)		I am working in 2D mode and ViaCAD keeps crashing/locking up whenever I try to extend a line that is enclosed inside of a rectangle or other polygons when using the polygon as the extend to boundary. It works fine if I extend a line inside of a circle, but I can't get it to work in a rectangle or polygons. If I try to extend a line to intersect a polygon, the screen blinks and then I get a blue circle showing that it is trying to do something but it never comes back. I have to close out of ViaCAD and start over. Is this a bug or is it just not possible to use extend inside of a polygon? If it is not possible, it seems like it should give me an error and shouldn't lock the program up. Anyone else have this issue? Any fix for it?

I can select the circle and then hit the extend button and extend the line inside the circle without any problem. If I select the rectangle or polygon first and them hit the extend button that will lock me up. This happens in both 2D and 3D modes. I am running ViaCAD Pro 10 Version 10.0.0 Build 1309 in Windows 10 64 bit. A newer build should correct the crash. They have 1318 available for issues such as this. Extending to a polygon is something that still needs to be added to the trim tool. Tim
