Here is a demonstration about the function: solid skin, and the pitfalls to avoid.

Tim?

Could you explain to us what the multitude of options of the palette: Inspector / Properties?

Below, the Shark file.

Thank you

Hi Antoine

Quick cut/paste from Dassault docs regarding guide curves in ACIS. The third consideration may apply to your example of a closed guide.

Considerations on input of guide curves:
--Any number of guide curves can be specified.
--Every guide curve must contact (within 0.000001) each profile in the skinning list.
--Every guide curve must have its ends either on the first or the last profile. In case of a closed guide curve, it needs to start as well as end at the first profile.
--The guide curves need not be consistent in the v direction, that is, if there are two or more guide curves, all of them need not run in same direction.
--The guide curves must be non-looping, well behaved, and at least G1 continuous.

In addition to surface control, guide curves also implicitly control the breakup of the coedges. If the guide curves intersect vertices on the wire it is guaranteed that those vertices will align. If a guide curve intersects coedges at positions other than vertices, then the adjacent vertices will be aligned

I need to put together a doc on skinning/lofting like I did for covers that provides examples for each of these options.
