I am new here, I have Viacad 10 Pro and learning to use it. I am trying to draw a 20 foot radius between two points which are 12 inches apart. I am not having any luck at doing this, can someone give me some pointers? I am making a jig that will be used to cut this radius into a piece of mdf board to be used in building radiused tops and backs for Guitars and Ukuleles. Any help in drawing this radius would be appreciated.

Probably other ways to do it, but draw a 480" circle, draw a line from the center to
the quadrant, offset the line 6" on each side and trim.

you can do it with the "2-point arc" tool.

specify arc start point and endpoint, then set the arc center far away and try to match 240 in the radius field (zoom in)

Thanks guys, both of these methods worked very well for me.I was thinking their was a possible way of just setting two points at a given distance and putting the radius between them. This would be a neat feature to have. I had to go into preferences and do a custom resolution to get a smooth usable radius, at first it was too segmented to be useful.
Thanks for the help, Larry & rokoko.

Draw two 20" diameter circles centred on the two points, draw a two-point arc between the two points (the circles' centres), its centre at the intersection of the circles' circumference. Segmentation isn't relevant to snap features.

Yes murray 20 inch circle causes no real segmentation problem but I am drawing a 20 foot circle and also 25 & 30 feet circles which did cause segmentation problems until I changed the curve angle to 1.0 and facet angle to 2.0 , now I have a very smooth curve with these large radii. With the factory settings in 10 Pro in the 24 inch cord of this large diameter the line had too much segmentation to be usable as a guide for the router to form a 20 foot diameter dish in a 14 inch square piece of 3/4 inch MDF board. All the information I have received from you guys has been helpful and appreciated.
