Dear All, I am new to ViaCad so apologies for the newbie question. I want to use symbols in drawing some floor plans. I understand that ViaCAD has some symbols via the conext explorer menu. How do i insert symbols into a drawing? Late ron I want to use electronics symbols to create circuit designs. Kind Regards Paul

Hi Paul Welcome to the Forum In Concept explorer, choose the symbol you want to use, click and hold down the left mouse button on the one you want, while holding down drag it onto / into the drawing area. It is grouped together, so it wont fall apart. You can use the select deep tool tool to modify it or group and ungroup it to modify it. you can also make your own symbol by saving the whole of the drawing space or highlighting / selecting a section of the drawing, and under the top left file menu select the save as symbol option.
