When doing a dimensioning and have a vertical dimension line, the text is 90° to the line. according to Iso standard it would have to be in the same vertical order than the dimension line. Is there anybody with an Idea what to do?

Hi Thorsten
Just zoom in and that will probably change the view.
When you print the drawing the sizes revert to the correct orientation.
I think its a programmed feature, as you zoom out the text rotates for easier viewing.
Also, I'm not sure how experienced you are but you can change setting under the value settings in the inspector as per the attached screen shot.
Hope this helps

No, its not working. There is no change when zooming and no change when printing. Its still in wrong orientation. And yes, I am experienced User, since Viacad 5 and Shark Cad 8 I am using it. I never had this Problem. Think Punch has to change something...

But in Print it is working. This is a very unnice feature. I would prefer to have control of the real position.

Hello What are your dimension standards set to? Can you post a screenshot after selecting a dimension and a second screenshot with nothing selected of the dimension standards window. Regards Jason

The Dimensions set to Iso what I wrote already. It is not so, that I'm a stupid! Viacad 11 cannot show it within rendering the 2D scene. When rendering the print viacad 11 is turning the dimention tesxt to the right position. Stupidly is this not enough for me because I cannot set it to the right position that the dimensioning is fitting and looking nice. So, whatever: it is a Viacad fault and should be corrected.

Hello
Can you post a screenshot of the issue with a specific example? The dimension settings and the plane the dimensions are added in make a difference.
Regards
Jason

As MaiFy suggested in an earlier post, set your text to
horizontal.
